New Build uploaded 05-09-2024
Only a few days left, and its finally starting to feel like a game, this build fixed one major issue thats been bugging me for a while, there is now a feasible game loop and finally I have fixed our shooter blasting you in mid air while magically floating. so what is new this build:-
- (FIX) The shooter no longer convulses when near a player which was causing some firing issues
- (FIX) The player now has limited firing ability, this feature is there to make the game more challenging, now you can only fire 6 shots before your gun overheats, when it happens you will have to wait 3 seconds while it cools down, the gun fills up quickly though, in future this feature will introduce more stringent restrictions such as longer cooldown if overheated and slower recharge
- (FIX) The big one for me anyways is the player actually dies when killed resulting in you having to restart the game, This is a big feature because now it allows the game to restart and no longer crashes internally.
- (QOL) I have changed some controls in this build, Now the players move mod is set to E instead of Right Click and the Grenade has taken Dashes place on the right click control this is also accessible on the keyboard (though the aim is still with the mouse)
- (PLS) The enemies now fade away after 5 seconds when killed and not just vanishing this bit of polish makes the game look a little cleaner
So a few things have been done since my last build so the following elements are what is coming soon, I fully intend to continue development so I have attached a definitive priority list to show where I am going.
Priority 1 (Game Jam)
- Multi Channel Sound
- Pickups
- Rat Boomer (boss) - Gives the Grenade Upgrade
- Destructible Walls - These are what the grenades can destroy
- D.A.5.H (Boss) - Gives first Movement Mod
- More Sound Effects
- More Area Obstacles
Priority 2 (Online Demo / Game Jam if there is time)
- More Enemy Types
- Narrative Elements
- Respawning Enemies
- Customizable Controlls
- Limited Grenades
- Traps
Priority 3 (Full Release S.T.C)
- More Music
- Multi Direction Shooting
- Easier Jumping Controls
- More Grenade Types
- More Gun Types
- More Upgrades
- New Map Sections
- Other NPC Allies / Neutrals
This is my current Game Plan though this is subject to change and if you stick with me you will see these change and evolve but in the meantime what you see as priority 1 i very much set in stone which gives me less than 6 days to impliment it, so onwards

- Multi Chanel Sound (this allows multiple sfx to play at the same time)
- Pickups (Will start off with Health Pickups)
- More Sound FX
- More Meat on the bones of our map
